An Odd Couple

Salutations and welcome to another session of WWBS or What Would Bangs Say?

Today's topic is about none other than my human and I. You know, starlights, many people like to say that the two of us were made for each other and are perfect together.

While these things may be true, most people think we have a lot in common. While we do have some similarities we are more of an odd couple. We hope to show this off in our upcoming book, in fact. I don't see anything wrong with sharing a few examples in today's post though. One thing that my human and I butt heads on is appearance and compliments. I could listen to people telling me how beautiful and flawless I am all day where as my human, Kris, gets uncomfortable with compliments and has trouble believing them. Especially when it comes to femininity.

Another thing we differ in is self-care. I take pride in my appearance as you can imagine so I'm always bathing and taking good care of myself. My human, on the other hand, let's just say - Bath time isn't her favorite. (Sorry, human). You know how else we differ? Sports! I love them. Chasing balls is a fun past time for me and I love a good game of fetch, but my human? The only sporty thing she's ever been into was running. Anything with a ball immediately makes her lose interest. Well, unless it's with me, of course!

Oh, we can't forget favorites either. My favorite color is pink while my human's is blue. I love regular fish but hate shell fish while human's favorite food is lobster! I also like to curl up with a good book while she would rather play video games.

I could go on and on but you may be wondering where I'm going with all this. To be honest, a part of me just wanted to ramble but I also think our relationship proves that opposites can attract and you don't have to be exactly the same to get along with someone.
